Deborah Brown

Mrs. Deborah Charlene ""Deb"" Brown, age 59, of Fairview, MI, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Grayling Mercy Hospital in Grayling, Michigan

Deb was born on September 18, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee to Charles James Spain, Sr. and Mona Eva (Koonce) Spain.  She was raised in Pontiac, Michigan.  Deb married Charles Richard ""Charlie"" Brown on July 5, 1994 in Dayton, Tennessee.  She enjoyed gospel and country singing, and was a ""Computer Whiz"".  Deb adored her 5 cats, and enjoyed having coffee on her back porch, watching wildlife.

Surviving are her husband Charlie; her children: Edward Paul Johnson of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Andrew Curtis Johnson of Pontiac, Michigan; her 3 stepchildren:  Charles Richard Brown, Jr., Elizabeth Ann Renato, and Cheyennea Arlene Brown; all of Michigan; 4 grandchildren:  Dennie Ramage, Cody Ramage, Eddie Johnson and Kyler Johnson; and her sisters: Eva Dolores ""Dooley"" (Vern) Crowe and Patti Lynn (Robert ""Bobby"") McMahon, all of Dayton, Tennessee.  Deb was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Charles James Spain, Jr.

Visitation Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI ;and again on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 10 AM until funeral service at 11 AM also at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with Reverend Glynn McMorris of the Mio Baptist Church officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, MI.

Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society; or to the Michigan Heart Association.
