Dean A. Rizor

Dean A. Rizor, age 67 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Dean was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 20, 1952 to Edwin and Lucela (Rohrbaugh) Rizor. He served the Macomb County Sheriff’s Department for 25 years. He moved to Mio in 1996 from Clinton Township, Michigan, where he was active in driving for the Amish Community for 9 ½ years. Dean is survived by his children: Matthew (Megan) Rizor, Kyle Rizor, and Mason Couture; his sister Greer (Michael) Rizor-Hess; 2 grandchildren: Wyatt and Hudson; his uncle Jim Zartman; and his dear friend Paul Yoder. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private Visitation and Funeral Service at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with Mr. Wayne Gerber and Mr. Lester Miller officiating. Interment at Kittle Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.

A Public Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
