Dean J. Miller

Dean J. Miller, age 69 of Fairview, Michigan, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, MI on Thursday, April 20, 2017.
Dean was born in Wauseon, Ohio on June 4, 1947 to Earl and Audrey (Croninger) Miller. He moved to Fairview, MI at the age of 6. Dean married Ardis Troyer on February 17, 1973 in Fairview. Dean worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Oscoda County Road Commission, retiring 5 years ago. He was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church, and was active in the Relief Sale for many years. He had enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and reading.
Dean is survived by his wife Ardis Miller of Fairview, MI; his children: Brandon Miller of Raleigh, NC, and Tonia (Jason) Kaczmarek of Monroe, MI; his sister Earlene Smith of Georgia, his brothers: Mark (Roseanne) Miller of Fairview, MI, and James (Andrea) Miller of Bronx, NY; 2 grandchildren: Quinten and Makenna, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Mike Smith.
Visitation on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 4 -8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI; and also on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 10 AM until Funeral Services at 11 AM at the Fairview Mennonite Church with Pastor David Price officiating. Interment will follow the services at Fairview Cemetery.
