Dawn M. Nichols

Dawn M. Nichols, age 53 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Dawn was born in Alpena, Michigan on July 16, 1967 to Laverne Yax and Gail Cady. She grew up in Mio, Michigan and lived most of her life here. She loved music, and also enjoyed tubing & kayaking, knitting, scrapbooking, traveling, and hanging with her grandkids.

Dawn is survived by her mother Gail McIntire; her children: Shane Miller and Joshua (Desiree) Nichols; her sisters: Diane McIntire (Ziggy Kudla) and Paula (David) Miller; her brother David McIntire, Jr., and her grandchildren: Alexander Nichols, Declan Nichols, Jaxson Nichols, Cheyleigh Miller, and Novaleigh Miller. She was preceded in death by Ahleigha Miller, David McIntire Sr., Laverne Yax, and Clyde Miller.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
