Dawne Daleen McNamara, age 40, of Luzerne, passed away suddenly Saturday, March 3, 2007. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2007 at the Mio AuSable Schools Gymnasium from 1-9 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted later this week at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home in Flat Rock, Michigan. Entombment will be at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, MI following the funeral service.
Mrs. McNamara was born on June 21, 1966 in Dearborn, Michigan. She married her husband Kevin on May 15, 1990, in Romulus, MI and they have been together for twenty years. They moved to Luzerne in 1995 from Dearborn Heights. She was a Certified Paramedic, employed by Northflight EMS of Grayling and Munson Medical Center of Traverse City, She received her Associate's Degree in Applied Medical Science from Kirtland Community College and was currently pursuing a Nursing Degree through the College Network of the National League of Nursing. She was recognized recently in the National Registry of EMT's and Paramedics. Dawne was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mio. She was an avid animal person, who also enjoyed many sports, especially hunting, fishing and motorcycle riding. She loved her Harley Davison. She also enjoyed photography and gardening, and will be remembered for her kind heart and great smile.
Mrs. McNamara is survived by her husband Kevin, her daughter Nicole, her parents: James Eugene Boultinghouse of Allen Park and Sara Jean Rempe of Harrisville; two sisters: Michelle DeVos of Bay City and Nicole Baltodonis of Olympia, WA and many dear friends.
In memory of Dawne, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. These arrangements were entrusted to Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.
