Dawn (Theanna) Englehart

Dawn (Theanna) Englehart, age 82, of Mio, MI, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. She was born in Saginaw, MI on December 7, 1943 to the late Bob and Betty (Smith) Vance.

Dawn loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching the birds by the bird feeders, especially the woodpeckers and cardinals. Dawn always wanted a hug; she would never hesitate to give one. She always had an ear to listen to stories. One of her favorite things to do was go to the casino. Dawn also loved when her son, Ben, would make a great BBQ dinner for her.

Dawn is survived by her children, Sherry (Orville) Ledbetter, Teddy Schmidt, and Benson (Robin) Ledbetter; sister, MaryAnn (Jon) Hosner, daughter-in-law, Daphne Ledbetter, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary "Raisin" Englehart, brother, Bobby Vance, and her son, John Ledbetter.
