David Lee Miller

David Lee Miller, age 56, of Fairview, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Spectrum Hospital-East Campus in Grand Rapids, MI. Cremation has taken place. Visitation Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 4-6 PM at Fairview Mennonite Church, Fairview, and again on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 2 PM until the time of memorial service at 3 PM at Fairview Mennonite Church with Pastor Brent Bontrager officiating.
David was born on October 14, 1953 to Willis L. and Susen (Bontrager) Miller in Fairview, MI. He grew up in Fairview, then later lived in Charlevoix for many years before returning to Fairview recently to live. David had worked for many years logging and enjoyed helping our Amish community as a driver. David will be remembered for his easy-going nature and his gentle and giving heart. He enjoyed being with people and he loved the Lord.
David is survived by his brothers and sisters: Ruthie (Dwen) Bontrager; Rachel (Gaylord) Weirich; Rebecca (Leon) Troyer; Glenn (Beth) Miller; Fran (Paul) Eichorn; and Sam (Mattie) Miller; his brother-in-law Jim Yutzy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Barbara Yutzy.
