David Clifton Mcintire

David C. McIntire, Sr., age 68 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at his home on Monday, October 29, 2018.

David was born in Fairview, Michigan on March 23, 1950 to Lyman and Lois (Johnson) McIntire. He worked as a tree trimmer for many years. David married Gail Cady on January 27, 1969 in Alpena, Michigan. He was a member of the Church of Christ - Roscommon. He enjoyed coon hunting and CB Radio chattering. He adored his grandkids and annual family tubing trips.

David is survived by his wife Gail McIntire; his children: Dawn Nichols, Diana McIntire (Ziggy Kudla), David McIntire (Kandi Schwartz), and Paula (David) Miller; his sister Janet Johnson; and his brothers: Charles (Chris) McIntire and Gary (Cheryl) McIntire. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Joshua, Shane, Kayla, Amanda "Pooh Bear", Randi, Melinda, Nicole, Andrew, Tabitha, Trai, and Reba; and his great-grandchildren: Alexander, Declan, Jaxon, Ahleigha, Cheyleigh, Novaleigh, Connor, Devin, Briel, Dakota, Brantley, O’Shanaye, Kaileonah, Safira, Adalyn, and Carolyn and 4 great grandchildren; Dalton, Isiah, Kristi and Ian.

Visitation on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 1 – 8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, and also on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 12 Noon until Funeral Services at 1 PM at Lashley Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Thomas of the Church of Christ, Roscommon officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan.
