David Kline

David Eugene Kline, 76, died August 6th, 2012 with his family by his side in Mio, Michigan.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 12th  at the Mio Moose Lodge.
He was born February 10, 1936, in Normal, Illinois to Eugene and Lorraine Kline.
He graduated from El Paso, Illinois High School in 1954. After a two-year stint in the United States Marine Corps, he married Patricia Jean Bohlander on December 29th, 1956.
Mr. Kline graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Forestry in 1960.  He worked for the United States Forest Service for 30 years with duty stations in Michigan and Missouri.
He was an active member of the Loud Creek Ski Club, belonged to the Mio Moose Club, was a member of The Society of American Foresters and donated to various charities. His interests included golf, cross-country skiing, hiking, reading and spending time with his family.
Mr. Kline is survived by his brother, Lawrence (Larry) Kline; two daughters, Vicki Moyers  and Lori Schlicher; son, Todd Kline; son-in-law Bobby Moyers; daughter-in-law Melissa Kline; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his eldest son, Jay Douglas Kline, and son-in- law Walter Raymond Schlicher.
