David D. Duby

David D. Duby, age 68 of Mio, Michigan, died at his home surrounded by his family after a long, brave battle with cancer on Monday, August 3, 2020.

David was born in Mio, Michigan on November 23, 1951 to Joseph and Sally (Brooks) Duby. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, and classic muscle cars.

David leaves behind his wife and best friend of 37 years Deborah Ann Duby; his mother Sally Duby; his daughters: Angela (Matt) Clymer and Amy (Jason) Fullerton; 5 grandchildren: Cody (Skylar) Clymer, Scott Fullerton, Sydney Clymer, Erin Fullerton, and Hayley Clymer; and 2 great-grandchildren: Gabriella & Brooklynn Clymer and several neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Duby and his brother Russell Craig Duby.

Visitation on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 4 – 8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI. David will also lie in state on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Mio Baptist Church from 10 AM until the Funeral Services at 11 AM with Rev. Glynn McMorris officiating. Interment will follow at Mentor Township Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.

Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
