David Baker

David Baker, age 53 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at Munson Hospital-Grayling on Monday, December 4, 2017.

David was born in Dearborn, Michigan on December 4, 1964 to Edward V. and Stephanie (Rellinger) Baker. He graduated from Lincoln Park High School with the Class of 1983. He served his country in the US Army. David worked as a High-Low Mechanic. He moved to Luzerne 7 years ago from Down River, Michigan. David was a member of the Luzerne American Legion. He loved being outdoors enjoying nature.

David is survived by his mother Stephanie Baker; his children: Daniel Baker of California, and Sean Baker of Southgate, MI, and their mother Lisa Curtiss, also of Southgate, MI; his brother Russell (Sandy) Baker of Woodhaven, MI; and his sisters: Diane (Thomas) Oberhausen of Dearborn Heights, MI; Cheryl (Frank) Johnson of Melvindale, MI; and Penny (William) Clifford of Southgate, MI. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Victor Baker; his sister Cindy Waske, and his brother Edward Baker.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 1 - 5 PM with Services and Military Honors at 2 PM a the the Taylor Eagles Club, 23900 Goddard Road, Taylor, MI 48180.
