Darlene Ann Crandall

Darlene A. Crandall, age 79 of Rose City, Michigan, passed away at Covenant Health Systems-Cooper in Saginaw, Michigan on Thursday, November 15, 2018.

Darlene was born in Carleton, Michigan on January 4, 1939 to Vincent and Elsie (Chopson) Schneider, Sr. She married her husband Vernie on October 27, 1955 in Carleton, MI. The couple moved to Mio in 1972 from Pontiac, MI. Darlene enjoyed shopping, the Detroit Tigers, motocross, TV and game shows, and concerts.

Darlene is survived by is survived by her children: Duane Crandall of Rapid City, MI; Roger Crandall of Rose City, MI; Mike Crandall of Houghton Lake, MI; Debra Crandall of Lupton, MI; Cynthia Crandall of Waterford, MI; and Valarie (Jim) McGregor of Rose City, MI; her sisters: Donna Benner, Pat Felts, Nida Matthews, and Roberta Robbins; 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Vernie Crandall, Sr.; her son Vernie Crandall, Jr.; her brother Vincent Schneider, Jr; and her sisters Barbara Chadwick and Katherine Schneider.

Visitation on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 2 – 8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI; and also on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2 PM until the time of Funeral Services at 3 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI with Rev. Glynn McMorris officiating. Interment at Kittle Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.
