Danny James Dean

Danny James Dean, aged 67, passed away on August 22, 2024, in Mio, Michigan, with family by his side. Born on November 15, 1956, in Port Huron, Michigan, Danny was known for his kind-hearted and outspoken nature. A private man at heart, he cherished moments of laughter and conversation with his close friends and family.

He Is survived by his partner, Rose Dean of Mio, MI; his son, Duane Dean and wife Amelia of Bay City, MI; his daughter, Patricia Dean of Port Huron, MI; his brother, Jeff Dean and wife Kim of Sanderson, FL; his sister, Rebecca Brennan of Altoona, FL; and his stepfather Rich Brennan of Englewood, FL. Also, many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Brennan; sister, Pamela Dean; and his children, Danny Dean and Kristina Dean.

Danny was a passionate outdoorsman, a lifelong avid hunter and a proud member of the NRA. He relished deer hunting, fishing, playing poker with friends, and enjoyed listening to music.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at the Mio Moose Lodge at 3:00 pm. All family and friends are invited to attend and share memories of Danny. Cremation has taken place according to his wishes and was handled by Lashley Funeral Home of Mio, MI.
