Dale L. Hauserman

Dale L. Hauserman, age 73 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan on Saturday, January 18, 2014.
Dale was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 30, 1940 to Russell and Velma (Ahrnes) Hauserman. He served his country in the US Air Force. He worked for Chrysler Corporation in the Sterling Stamping Plant in Sterling Heights, Michigan as a welder repairman, retiring in 1994 after 30 years of service. He married Robin Fox on April 12, 1982. The couple retired to Luzerne.
Dale is survived by his wife Robin of Luzerne, MI; his son Steven Hauserman and his daughter Sherri Hauserman, both of Warren, MI; 3 grandchildren: Brent, Samantha, and Jarod; his sister Sally Doreman of Toledo, OH; and his brother Jerry Hauserman of Nashville, TN. and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law Lois and Alvin Shankle of St. Helen, MI and his cousin Diane Lindhorst of Petersburg, MI.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 4-8PM at the Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, Michigan. Military Honors will be offered by the Luzerne American Legion Post #162 on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 1 PM at Lashley Funeral Home. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow. Interment of ashes at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
