Clara Edna Miller

Clara E. Miller, age 94 of Fairview, Michigan, passed away at The Home at Wellspring Lutheran Services in Fairview, Michigan on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

Clara was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on August 9, 1930 to Jerry and Mattie Troyer. She married Willard Miller on June 11, 1955, in Hutchinson, Kansas. The couple settled in Fairview, Michigan, where Clara and Willard worked together at the Fairview Coffee Shop, and later at Willard’s Sinclair Service and later at Williard's Motor Sales. She was a long-time member of the Fairview Mennonite Church. Clara had enjoyed hosting family and friends often. Everyone enjoyed her cooking and baking. She was always ready to compete in card games or puzzles and won often.

Clara is survived by her children Rodney Miller (Kathy DeFrance) of Linden, TN and Lisa (Ron) Smith of Gaylord, MI; 5 grandchildren: Adam, Amanda (Ben), and Chelsea, Caleb and Leah (Chris); 6 great grandchildren and 2 sisters-in-law Judy Troyer and Karen Troyer and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Willard; her daughter in law Dorothy; her brothers: John, Harry, William, Ora, Mose, Fred, and Jerry; and her sister Emma.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service for Interment of ashes will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan, at a later date.
