Christine H. Bennett

Christine Bennett of Mio, passed away at the age of 77 after a short battle with cancer. Born and raised in Hayward, Wisconsin on a dairy farm, she went on to attain a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Master of Library Science degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She was a well-respected researcher and publisher of a newsletter on Life-Cycle Management for a company in Ann Arbor. She moved to the Mio area in 2009 with her husband Alexis L. Clark III and retired in 2012. She is survived by her husband Lex and three children from a former marriage, Amy of Brooklyn, NY; Jesse of Vista, CA, and Sarah of Mio, a stepson Alexis in Huntington Beach, CA, a step daughter, Nikki of Romulus, MI and seven grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 1, 2019 a.m. 10:00 a.m. at the Kittle Cemetery Mio, MI.
