Charles Leroy Robison
Charles (Chuck) Robison, 75, of Luzerne, MI, born March 2, 1932 in Detroit to the late Charles & Louise (DuPuis) Robison, joined his wife Annabelle (McMahan) Robison in eternal Life on March 2, 2007.
Chuck and Annabelle were married Feb. 7, 1951 in Birmingham, MI. The couple later moved to Madison Heights, MI. where they raised 7 children. After his loving wife passed away in 1994, Chuck moved to Empire, MI where he had family and made many new friends. Chuck retired from General Motors Gear and Axle after 32 years of service, where he served as a UAW committee man. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Madison Heights and a founding member of The Eagles Club in Empire. Chuck was also a member of The Mio Moose Lodge and was a Mason with The Shriners. Chuck spent his final years in Luzerne, MI. where his children have summer homes. He enjoyed wildlife, family BBQs and taking care of his dogs.
Surviving are his daughters Cathy Bliss (Ben Stiltner) of Punta Gorda, FL; Sherrie Robison (Jan Dunn) of Mio, MI; Becky (Michael) Marchese of Madison Heights, MI; Georgia (David) Rocheleau of Ferndale, MI; Anna (David) Wendels of Maple City, MI; Laura (R. Michael) Wendels of Empire, MI; 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; special caregiver Debra Gross and her daughter Alexie; sisters Joyce Robison and Norma Brozowski; many nieces, nephews and his special friend Sue Spicer and his ""heaven sent"" neighbor and friends Doug & Mary Heeg.
He was preceded in death by wife Annabelle, son Randy, grandsons Jason Thompson & Christopher Baize and sons-in-law Danny Plunkett and James Bliss.
Visitation 2-9 PM Sunday at The Lashley Funeral Home, Mio. Funeral Services, 11:00 AM Monday, March 5, 2007, at the funeral home, with Pastor Russell Bowman officiating. Interment and graveside services will be held at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Empire, MI.
