Mr. Charles Leon Miller, age 81, of Lewiston, MI, formerly of Southfield, MI, passed away at The Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview, MI on Sunday, November 7, 2010.Charles was born on August 3, 1929 in Detroit, MI to Perry John and Marion Pearl (Westfall) Miller.  He worked as a Plasterer for Burton Bros. Construction of Southfield, retiring in 1991.  Charles was a member of the AuSable Antique Tractor Club and T.O.P.S.Surviving are his wife Anna T. Miller; children: Vicki (Jim) Potts of Clawson, MI, Jerry (Virginia) Miller of Rochester Hills, MI and Karl (Angela) Miller of Sterling Heights, MI; his step-children: Darlene Mathias, Marilyn Morris and Ronald Morris; 1 brother Kenneth Miller; 4 grandchildren: Marcia Potts, Tiffany (Tim) Gunn, Jackson Miller, and Daniel Miller; and 2 great-grandsons: Daniel and Matthew Gunn; 22 step-grandchildren and 17 step great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Bernadine Miller; a brother Dean Miller and a sister Mary Lou MacArthur.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, from 5-8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, MI and on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 5-9 PM at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors-Howell Chapel in Clawson, MI; Funeral Service on Thursday November 11, 2010 at 11 AM at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors-Howell Chapel with Pastor Daniel Gardner officiating.  Interment at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI.Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan and Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors-Howell Chapel in Clawson.
