Charles Henry Clover
Mr. Charles Henry Clover, 82, passed away Monday, January 7th, 2008 at his home near Mio after losing his battle with lymphoma.
According to Charlie's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visiting and sharing with the family, Saturday, January 12, 2008 from 1 - 4:30 PM, with a Memorial Service at 4:30 PM at The Woodland Sanctuary, 269 Zimowske Road, Mio. Charlie's grandson, Christopher Clover officiating as speaker, followed by Military Honors offered by The Luzerne American Post #162. Interment of Ashes at Luzerne Cemetery at a later date.
Charlie was born on June 17, 1925 near Luzerne, the son of Edwin and Jenny (Palmer) Clover. He served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W.II, receiving 2 Bronze Battle Stars and the Purple Heart Medal for injuries he sustained in combat. He lived in the Luzerne area most of his life. He enjoyed his family and farming.
Surviving are his three sons:: Thomas (Linda)of Eads, TN, Kenneth (Marla) and David (Dee) all of Mio; one daughter: Cheryl Clover of Mio; seven grandchildren: Luke of San Jose, CA, K.C., Angel (Brian), Chris (Raeanne), Kristina, Kaleb and Spencer all of Mio, one great grandson: Keagan of Mio; two step-grandchildren: Stephanie (Jeff) Anderson of Bristow, VA and Melody (Jason) Delaney of Eads, TN and two step great grandsons: Jacob Delaney and Austin Anderson.
