Mr. Carey Lee King, age 57, of Curran, MI. died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 4th, 2008 at his home.
Visitation Sunday June 8, 2008 from 1-4 and 6-9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio and Monday, June 9, 2008 from 11 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 1:00 PM at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mio, with Pastor Michael Sheppard officiating. Committal Service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the Chapel at The Flint Memorial Park in Flint, MI.
Carey was born on October 25, 1950 in Flint, MI to Marshall E. King, Jr. & Bessie E. (Galick) King.
Carey worked as a Bookkeeper at The BP Gas Station in Curran , MI. He also was attending The Alpena Community College pursing a career in Medical Billing. He was a member of The St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Mio, Michigan. He also enjoyed vintage cars and going to car shows.
Carey is survived by his mother: Bessie E. (Galick) King of Curran, MI.; brother: Darwin (Lois) King of Allegheny, NY. and nephew: Edward King. He is preceded in death by his Father Marshall E. King Jr.
