Brent E. McCoy, age 69 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at his home on Friday, July 21, 2017.

Brent was born in West Branch, Michigan on February 4, 1948 to William and Ada (Van Sickle) McCoy.  He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Brent had worked as an EMT for many years.  He was an active member of the Luzerne American Legion Post #182. He loved fishing, photography, and metal detecting.

Brent is survived by his sisters:  Pam (Bob) Shampine of Palmetto, FL, and Sharon (Charles) Piper of Hill City, SD; his niece and nephew: Carrie Flynn and Joel Matson; and his grandnephew Jeffrey Turman. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Elyse McCoy.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned.

Memorial donations may be made to the Luzerne American Legion Post #182.
