Beverly F. Hartman

Mrs. Beverly F. Hartman, age 80, of Mio, passed away Wednesday July 23, 2008 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Visitation Friday, July 25, 2008 from 4-9 P.M. at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Ml, and again from 1 P.M. until Funeral Services at 2 P.M. on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Mio United Methodist Church with Pastor Marcel Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Mentor Township Cemetery.
Mrs. Hartman was born on July 8, 1928 to Ward and Florence (Cline) Walker and raised in Plymouth, Ml. They moved to Mio in 1938, where Beverly attended Mio Schools. She married George on November 13, 1948 in Mio. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, and gardening. She was also an artist who loved painting. Beverly was a member of the Mio United Methodist Church and also a Life Member of Mio O.E.S.
Mrs. Hartman is survived by her husband George; her children: George B. (Diana) Hartman of Hudson, FL, Tim Hartman of Owendale, Ml, Patti Hartman of San Diego, CA and Richard (Donna) Hartman of Caro, Ml; her sister Mickey Sammons of Rose City, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Donations may be made to the Mio United Methodist Church, 1101 W. 8th Street, Mio, Ml 48647 in Beverly's memory.
