Betty L. Hehn

Mrs. Betty L. Hehn, age 78, of Mio, passed away Friday, March 26th, 2010 at The Home at AuSable Valley Community.
Visitation Monday, March 29, 2010 from 1-5 and 7-9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio and again on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at The Mio Church of God, from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Mike Stadelmayer officiating. Interment at Kittle Cemetery, Mio.
Betty was born on January 26, 1932 in Mio MI to Carl S. & Florence G. (Marsh) Popps. She was raised in Mio and attended Mio AuSable Schools. She moved to Flint, MI in 1963 where she married Francis H. Hehn. Following Francis's death in 1992, Betty shared her time, living with her daughters in both Lansing and Mio where she had attended The Mio Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family, feeding the animals and watching the news, keeping up on politics and current events.
Surviving are two daughters: Theresa Willett of Lansing and Christine Gerber of Mio; 3 grandchildren: Thomas Pintacura of Lansing; Mark Bills of Wasilla, AK and Tracey Jarrett of Dundee, MI, 4 great grandchildren: Kasey, Dylan, Tucker and Ellie, two sisters: Maxine Keif of Waterford, MI and Linda Rounding of Flushing, MI also many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis H. Hehn, sister Shirley Kilgore and brother Zeke Popps.
