Betty Baker

Mrs. Betty Louise Baker, age 87 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.Mrs. Baker was born on August 13, 1926. in Goodells, MI to Clarence & Helen (Hoff) Campbell.  She and her husband Roy settled in Mio in 1980.  Betty was a member of the Luzerne American Legion Post #162 Ladies Auxiliary, volunteering with them for 15 years.  She was a homemaker and an avid snowmobiler.  Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Roy; her children Richard Baker and his wife Susan; her grandchildren:  Brent Baker and his wife Randi; her great grandchildren:  Rylie Baker and Livia Oosterink; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents:  Clarence Campbell and Helen Hoff; and some of her 14 brothers and sisters.In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at The Luzerne American Legion Post on Saturday September 21, 2013 at 12:00 noon.Memorial donations may be made to the Luzerne American Legion Post #162 Ladies Auxiliary, Legion Dr. Luzerne, Mi 48636Arrangement by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI.
