Bette Jean Mccaulley

Bette Jean McCaulley, age 72, of West Branch, Michigan passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at The Villa West Branch.

Bette Jean Bugg (McCaulley) was born in Curran on August 02, 1947 to the late LeRoy and Wanda (Hensey) Bugg.

Bette graduated from Fairview High School. She continued to live in the Curran area while raising her daughter Sheri. Later on Bette moved to Grand Blanc, Michigan, and later yet to West Branch, Michigan. Bette attended Baker College in Flint, Michigan. She did retail and secretarial work. Bette could type faster than most people talk. Bette also wrote poetry and was a published poet in a compilation book of poems. One of Bette’s past-times is that she loved to drive. Mom will be dearly missed.

Bette is survived by her daughter Sheri Lynn Krebs (Thomas), siblings, Robert (Margaret) Bugg, Clayton (Barbara) Bugg, and David (Cheryl) Bugg..

Bette was preceded in death by infant brother, Richard; 3 siblings, Donald Bugg, and Eleanor Jacques, and Lorraine Thiem.

A Memorial Services to be held at Curran Baptist Church, Curran, Michigan at 12:00 Noon September 14, 2019, with a short graveside prayer service at Curran Cemetery. A dinner reception will be held at Mitchell Township Hall immediately following the services.
