Bert Wright Trowbridge

Mr. Bert Wright Trowbridge, 84, of Fairview, MI. died Thursday, July 15th, 2010 in Traverse City, MI.  According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial will be planned at a later date.
Bert was born in Mesick, Michigan on February 8, 1926, the son of the late Andrew and Elzina (Printess) Trowbridge.  He grew up in the mesick area and then served his country during World War II in the US Navy.  He married Stella U. Haines on August 5, 1948 and after retirment they spent there latter years in Fairview, MI.  Bert was an Independent Construction Contractor offering throughout the years a wide variety of services.  He loved hunting, fishing and working in the garden.
Bert is survived by his wife Stella; his children: Debra (Brian) Lenoard, Christine (Kenneth) Romska, Douglas (Teresa) Trowbridge and Kevin Trowbridge; his sister Lawayne Seeley; brothers: Lawrence and Elzie Trowbridge; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons: Bruce and Richard Trowbridge; sister June Abraham and two brothers Delmer and James Trowbridge.
