Bernice Ann Morse

Bernice Ann Morse, age 86 of Mio died January 16, 2015 at her home. Her final resting place is next to her beloved husband, Denny G. Morse, in Luzerne Cemetery. Bernice was born June 5th, 1928 in Luzerne. She spent the early part of her life running the Luzerne Hardware, Service Station, Laundromat and Dairy Ace alongside her husband, while finding time to teach ballroom dancing at the Luzerne Northwoods Club and Mio AuSable School. After retiring Bernice spent many years traveling with her husband and camping with her many grandchildren, however, her true passion was spending countless hours tending to her flowers and garden. Bernice is survived by her children John "Jack" Nolan, Dennis "Scook" Morse, Beverly Morse and Jill Ann Nolan; her brother and sister, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation, Monday, January 19, 2015 from 1:00-9:00 PM with Funeral Service at at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Russell Bowman officiating.
Graveside Services at the Luzerne Cemetery on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
