Bernadine "Carol" Shook

Bernadine C. "Carol" Shook, age 71 of Rose City, Michigan, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 15, 2020.

Carol was born in Bay City, Michigan on March 19, 1949 to Paul and Magdalena (Gorzenski) Krzyminski. She married James Shook on January 11, 1967 in Bay City. Carol worked as a Medical Assistant for Heart Physicians in the Bay City area. Carol and James retired to Rose City in 2007, and wintered in Phoenix, Arizona. She worked as an election volunteer in Rose City, and was a member of the Luzerne American Legion and the Mio Moose Club. Carol enjoyed crafting (including Diamond Dots) and gardening.

Carol is survived by her husband James of Rose City, MI; her children: Janice (Marty) Gow of Clio, MI; and James Shook, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; her sister Rita (Bill) Lozon of Crossville, TN; her grandson Brian Kuch (Mackenzie Starks) and her beloved cat "Sweet Pea". She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson Jarred Kuch, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
