Barbara Sharon Keil

Barbara S. Keil, age 79 of Flint, Michigan, passed away at her daughter’s home in McKinley, MI on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

Barbara was born in Lansing, Michigan on September 23, 1944, to Clinton and Doris (Sudduth) Collins.  She lived in Flint most of her life where she worked as a cashier for Rite Aid. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family; especially shopping and going to the casino. She will always be remembered as being a strong-willed person and a loving mother and grandmother.

Barbara is survived by her husband John H. Keil; her children: Cary (Kim) Harbaugh of Boyne City, MI and Tonya (Brian) Greenfield of McKinley, MI; her sister Sue (Dennis) Settlemyre of Clio, MI; her brother Jerry Collins; her grandchildren: Zachary Harbaugh, Rachel Harbaugh, Becky Harbaugh, Bret Harbaugh, Lindsey Jackson (Clifton), Destiny Nicks (Jace), Joseph Dion, and Anthony Greenfield (Vera), and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jim Collins.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held at a later date in the Flint area.
