Arthur John ""Jack"" Davidson, age 80, of Mio, formerly of Goodrich, MI, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010, at his home.
Jack was born on December 31, 1929 to Arthur Booth and Estelle (Wood) Davidson in Detroit, MI. He moved to Farmington, MI as a boy and to Waterford in his teen years.  As a child, he vacationed at the family cottage in Lovells, MI and also in Atlanta, MI.  He served his country in the US Coast Guard from 1948-1953.  Jack married Natalie I.  Sposato, on May 23, 1959, at Our Lady of the Lakes Church in Waterford, MI.  Jack worked for Goodrich Manufacturing in Goodrich, MI, retiring in 1991 after 38 years of service.  The couple moved to Mio from Goodrich in July, 1996.  Jack enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, golf, gardening, driving his Kubota tractor, and snowmobiling.
Jack is survived by his wife Natalie; his 'mother"" Ethel Lamberton of San Angelo, TX; his children:  Valerie (John) Tucker of Centreville, VA; Art (Rose) Davidson of Saugerties, NY  and Diane (Craig) DeNise of Mio, MI; his sister Carol Grimes of Naperville, IL; and his 'siblings"":  Ed Lamberton of Lewiston, MI; Donna Kay Stiles of San Angelo, TX; Karlene McLaren of San Angelo, TX; and Kathy Sue Crosby of Grand Rapids, MI.  His grandchildren:  Kimberly, Karen, & Kristen Tucker; A.J., Ashley, and Amber Davidson; and Joey (Amanda) Forster and Jillian Forster; and his great grandchildren:  Dylan and Alana Forster and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers and sisters:  William Davidson, Pricilla Toney, Richard Davidson, Marjorie Sue Davidson and Mert Tower; and his ""father"" James Lamberton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 1-4 and from 6-9 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, MI.  The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at 11 AM at the funeral home, with Father Raymond Cotter of St. Mary Catholic Church, Mio, MI officiating.  Interment at Kittle Cemetery, Mio.
