Ardis Louise Miller

Ardis L. Miller, age 67 of Fairview, Michigan, passed away at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital in Bay City, Michigan on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.

Ardis was born in Alpena, Michigan on September 28, 1951 to Emmerson and Norma (Reber) Troyer. The family lived in Fairview, and Ardis graduated from Fairview High School in 1970. She attended Kirtland Community College and Michigan State. Ardis worked in the Loan Department of 1st Bank in both the Fairview and Rose City offices. Ardis was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church. She volunteered through the church for the Northern Michigan Relief Sale and PMS Quilters. Ardis enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafting, and scrapbooking.

Ardis is survived by her children: Brandon Miller of Raleigh, NC; and Tonia (Jason) Kaczmarek of Monroe, MI; her sister Brenda (Dave) Kauffman; her brothers: Rodney Troyer and Kyle (Carol) Troyer; and her grandchildren: Quinten and Makenna. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Dean.

Visitation on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 4 – 8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI; and also on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 11 AM at the Fairview Mennonite Church, Fairview, MI with Pastor David Price officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan.
