Anthony Barajas was born in Flint Michigan on August 8, 1967 to Jesus and Judith Barajas. He attended Flint community schools which is where through mutual friends he met his wife Tammy in 1983. Over the years they had three wonderful children together and moved from Davison to northern Michigan in 1999. Tony had worked for Cooper Standard for a short time, then he worked at Hoskins until their closing. He went on to attend Alpena Community College and obtained his degree in concrete technology. Upon his graduation Tony was employed with the Michigan Department of Transportation and continued to work for them until September 2018. Tony loved being a road inspector for MDOT, and it gave him great pleasure to make the roads safer for his family and friends. Tony was filled with passions, for his family and friends, cooking, collecting, music, movies, playing pool, dancing, and even karaoke. He loved to make people laugh, which was easy to do given how contagious his laughter was. Tony loved to watch his children and grandchildren play in sports.
Anthony leaves behind his wife Tammy, his children, Brittney (Quinn), Brenden (Amanda), Baylee (Stephen), and his grandsons, Aiden Koby and Charles Anthony. His parents, Judith Barajas, Jesus (Bonnie), and his siblings, Daniel, Joseph (Melissa), Ramon and Amanda (Chris). His father and mother-in law Gene and Gail Ballard, sister-in-law Collene (Ken), brother-in-law Gene (Rex), and his life long childhood friend, Joe Wolfe. He also leaves his many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and numerous friends and a very special four legged canine pal named Hersey who misses him very much. Anthony was preceeded in death by grandparents Serapio and Antonia Barajas, and grandfather Stanley Verdier, grandmother Mary Candy along with Aunts, Uncles and cousins
