Annabelle Bontrager

Annabelle L. Bontrager, age 76, of Mio, Michigan, passed away Sunday, February 12th, 2012 at Tidewell Hospice House, Port Charlotte, Florida.
Annabelle was born in Berlin, Ohio on February 20, 1935, the daughter of the late Calvin and Emma (Weaver) Miller. She received her bachelors degree from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrison, VA and earned her masters degree from Centeral Michigan University. She moved to Mio in 1960 from Berlin, Ohio and was a school teacher for 38 years. She married Warren E. Bontrager on July 31, 2005 in Goshen, Indiana. She was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church, enjoyed bird watching and will be remembered as a ""favorite"" aunt by her many nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her husband Dr. Warren E. Bontrager, stepchildren: Beverly (Leonard) Meuti of Macedonia, Ohio; Wyman (Wendy) Bontrager of New Castle, Colorado; Dr Warren D. (Linda) Bontrager of Goshen, Indiana; Wesley Bontrager of Atlanta, Georgia and Gordon (Dr. Cynthia) Bontrager of Elkhart, Indiana. Also surviving are 3 brothers: Willis, Elwyn and Nelson Miller and 12 grandchildren.
Annabelle was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Doris Kandel, Cora Lucille Miller, Alice Sommers, Erdine Stutzman and Edna Bontrager.
Visitation Friday, February 17, 2012 from 1-4 and 6-9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio and Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 10AM until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 AM at The Fairview Mennonite Church, Fairview, Michigan, interment at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, MI.
