Anna Winstead

Anna Winstead, age 90, of Red Oak, formerly of Mio, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010.
Visitation Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 11 A.M. until the time of Funeral Service at 2 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with Pastor Russell Bowman officiating. Interment at Kittle Cemetery.
Anna was born on September 19, 1919 in Cokeburg, Pennsylvania to Peter and Mary (Federoff) Karpoff. She moved to Detroit in the 1940â??s, where she had worked for Popps Packing in Hamtramck. She moved to Mio in 1994, and settled in Red Oak in 2005. Anna enjoyed knitting, cooking, and working jigsaw puzzles.
Surviving are her son Dennis (Dianne) Winstead of Red Oak, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Matthew E. Winstead, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.
