Alma L. Rowe

Alma L. Rowe, age 87, passed away at Wellspring Lutheran Community Nursing Home in Fairview on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.
Alma was born in Elmer Township, Michigan on September 12, 1927 to William and Alta Hill. She graduated from Fairview High School in 1946, later moving to Highland Park, where she met and married Gordon Rowe. In 1989, she retired from her job as a meter maid and moved back to Oscoda County, where she lived until her death.
Alma is survived by 2 daughters: Lark Rowe of Warren, MI and Sally Rowe of Midland, MI; 1 granddaughter; 1 great-granddaughter; 3 sisters: Eunice Jones of Canton Twp., MI; Sylva Beauregard & Thela (Edwin) Brown, both of Mio, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her dear son Ricky Rowe in March 2011; her parents; 5 sisters; and her former husband Gordon Rowe.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 2-8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan; and again on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 11 AM, also at Lashley Funeral Home, with Pastor Sharon Gardulski officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan.
