Alice J. Jackson

Alice Jackson, age 80 of Fairview, Michigan, formerly of Tahoka, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview, Michigan. Alice's wishes were, to have her body donated for medical research.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Texas.
Ms. Jackson was born on February 4, 1927 in O'Donell, Texas to Bonnard Lee and Kate Parker. She was of the Baptist faith, having formerly been a member of the Sweet Street Baptist Church in Tahoka, Texas. Ms. Jackson was a retired nurse who devoted her life to helping others. She loved sharing in the joy and love of her family: children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ms. Jackson is survived by two daughters: Starlett Jayne Shea of Mio, Ml and Judie Lee Whiteley of Fort Worth, TX; son-in-law Michael Shea; 5 grandchildren: Arianna, Chase, Misty, Jason and Tiffany and 3 great granddaughters. She is also survived by 2 brothers: Pug Parker of Tahoka, TX and B.L. Parker of Austin, TX; and her sister Lois Dunlap of Lubbock, TX.
Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers; Homer, Reid and Dea Parker.
