Princinsky, Alfred (Dewey) Mio, MI. age 94, passed away suddenly Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 in Grayling Hospital. Dewey was born March 16, 1913 in Maple Grove Township and resided there until he retired from Saginaw Steering Gear in 1971.
He moved to Mio, Mi. and married Dorian Sutton on September 22, 1979. He was a member of the Mio Moose Club, The Eagles Club, American Legion and UAW Local 699 Retirees. He served in the WWII Air force for Four years. Dewey enjoyed wildlife and the outdoors.
Dewey is survived by his wife Dorian, niece Jeanne Amey (Arnold), niece Cathy Gross (Tom), and nephew Tom Princinsky (Gail) as well as several great and great great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents Emma and Frank Princinsky, sister Olive Leis and brothers: Carl, Frank Jr. and Richard Princinsky. He was also preceded by a nephew Jim Princinsky.
Viewing will be Sunday from 1-9 PM with Prayer Vigil Service at Lashley Funeral Home Mio, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday March 3, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 11:00 AM, with Father Raymond Cotter officiating. Interment will take place Tuesday at Resurrection Cemetery, Chesaning, Mi.
