Alexander F. Stillin, age 94 of Lewiston, Michigan, passed away at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan on Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Alexander was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 15, 1926 to Blaza and Natalie (Klrich) Stillin. Alexander served his country in the US Army during WWII and worked as a school custodian for many years. He was a member of the Lewiston VFW, the Lewiston Moose Lodge, and The Fun Ones of Lewiston. Alexander loved attending the car show in Lewiston, going to the Hotel Bar in Lewiston and working in his yard.
Surviving are his sister Agnes Harry-Stillin, many nieces and nephews, and his dear friends: Jeff & Joyce Compau, Tom & Laurel Stein, Norm & Shirley Haskel, Reggie & Dawn Rousse, Ron Germaine, and Gene & Heather Spies. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Joan.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes and military honor service will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
