Alberta "Toni" R. Miller

Alberta R. "Toni" Miller, age 68 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home on Friday, May 8, 2015.
Alberta was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 27, 1946 to Alma R. Jared. She was raised in Warren, MI and attended Centerline High School, graduating with the Class of 1964.  She married Robert Miller on December 10, 1966 in Centerline, Michigan.  The couple settled in Romeo, where Alberta worked as a bookkeeper for several attorneys over the years. The couple retired to Mio in 2004.  She was a member of the “Yarn Angels”.  She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Alberta is survived by her husband Robert Miller of Mio, MI; her children: Robb (Cindy) Miller of Clinton Twp., MI and Jamison Miller (Megan Spahn) of Mio, MI; her brother John A. (Bonnie) Banks of Sydney, OH, her 10 grandchildren: Jason, Corey, Katlyn, Blaine, Chelsea, Adrianna, Alexi, Jared, Seth, and Ryley; and 4 great- grandchildren: Rylyn, Allianna, Phoenix, and Breven.
Visitation Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 1-5 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan until the time of Family & Friends Sharing at 5 PM.  In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow the gathering.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
