James Peters Mr. James Peters, 87, of Mio died Thursday, October 12th, 2006 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Graveside services at Luzerne Cemetery, Luzerne, Michigan, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 14th, with Mr. James Slasinski of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Luzerne American Legion Post # 162 officiating. He was born in Hooversville, PA, on Feb 5, 1919 to John & Anna Peters. He served in the U.S. Army as a PTV in WW II and was a retired Laborer from the mining industry in Pennsylvania. He moved to Mio in 1970. He was a member of The Amateur Radio Relay League and The Luzerne American Legion Post # 162. Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.
