Mr. Donald Edward Honeycutt, 62, of Mio for the last 12 years, previously of Taylor, died Tuesday, July 26th, 2011 peacefully at the Munson Hospice House, in Traverse City, MI. Donald was born in Detroit, MI on December 11, 1948, the son of the late Paul M. and Mary (Sursley) Honeycutt.
He is survived by his wife Judith Marie (Richardson) Honeycutt; son Nick (Lana) Honeycutt of Taylor; 3 grandchildren: Brenden, Brooke and Isabella; 3 brothers: Gerald (Angie) Honeycutt, Jim Honeycutt and John Honeycutt; sister-in-law Teri (Dan) Oneill of Taylor and their daughter Darla; along with many nieces, nephews and good friends Tony (Pat) Rivera. Donald is preceded by his parents and his sister Linda Moden.
According to Donald’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned.

The loss of someone you love is very difficult. Many questions seemed unanswered. Having experianced these things I found great comfort in the Word of God, as Im sure you have. John 5:28,29 tell us that soon all who have died will live again.Psalms 37:10,11,29 explain to us that Gods original purpose will in fact be realized here an the earth. And finally the greatest peace of mind- That our lost loved ones are are mearly asleep, resting peacefuly for their resurrection Eccl 9:5. I hope these Scriptural truths bring you the same comfort that I was given.
