Mrs. Margaret V. Darson, 87, of Mio passed away Sunday, July 11th, 2010 in Fairview, Michigan.  According to her wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned.

Margaret was born in Troy, Michigan on February 16, 1923, the daughter of the late Charles J. and Sabine (Amy) Mouch.  She graduated from Clawson High School in 1941 and married her high school sweet heart John Darson on February 2, 1943 in Texas.  John and Margaret settled in Clawson where she worked as a phone line operator for GM.  Following retirement they moved to Mio. She was an active member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Rose City for many years.

Mrs. Darson is survived by her niece Jan Raven; great niece Chantel Blamer and great great nieces and nephews: Kaylea, Tayler, Scott and Wyatt. She is preceded in death by her husband John Darson, parents, sister Rosmarie Raven and niece Deborah Raven. Donation may be made to Heartland Hospice P.O. Box 667 West Branch, Michigan 48661.
