Mrs. Fanny Miller, age 90, of Fairview, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 18, 2007. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2007 from 4-8 P.M. at the Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, Michigan, and from 10 A.M. until the funeral services on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 11 A.M. at Fairview Mennonite Church with Pastors Eldon Krider and Virgil Hershberger officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Miller was born on January 25, 1917 in Fairview, Michigan to the late Joseph & Mattie (Weaver) Troyer. She married Harry Miller on June 6, 1936 in Fairview. She was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church. Fanny had enjoyed sewing, "Crazy Patch" piecing and quilting, providing many quilts for the Relief Sale through the years. She also enjoyed woodworking and fishing. She will be dearly missed. Fanny is survived by her son Lowell (Shirley) Miller; her two grandchildren Gwen (Pat) Duckworth and Greg (Melissa) Miller and her four great grandchildren: Ryan and Megan Duckworth and Brianna and Brockton Miller. She was "Aunt Fanny" to many nieces and nephews. Fanny was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry in September, 1991, her infant daughter Wenona, her sisters Lydia Troyer, Amanda Oaks, Minnie Helmuth and Sarah Bontrager and her brothers Jerry, Ben, Joe, Davey and Sam Troyer. These arrangements were entrusted to Lashley Funeral Home of Mio, Michigan.
