Mary Ann Harman, age 84, of Mio, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at her daughter’s home in Reed City, MI. Visitation on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 11 AM – 1 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, with Funeral Service at 1PM with Mary's son-in-law, Pastor Tim Fagan officiating. Interment at Kittle Cemetery. Mary was born on September 25, 1925 in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada to William and Ann (Yrczock) Semeniuk. She married Harold Harman on January 12, 1946 in Napoleon, Ohio. The couple lived in Detroit, and later moved to Vernon, MI. Upon their retirement about 35 years ago, they settled in Mio. She enjoyed walking in the woods, mushrooming, and gardening. Surviving are her daughter Bonnie (Pastor Tim) Fagan of Reed City; her sister Jenny Slobodecki of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harold; her son William; and 9 brothers and sisters.
