Mrs. Martha S. “Marty” Knight, age 71, of Luzerne, MI, passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 at her home.
Marty was born on April 5, 1940 in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI.  She married James on August 6, 1960 in Grosse Pointe Farms.  She worked for many years as an underwriter for many insurance companies in the Detroit area.  The couple moved to Luzerne 25 years ago from Dearborn Heights, MI.  Marty was an active member of the Luzerne American Legion Post #162, Ladies Auxiliary, especially with the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Marty is survived by her husband James of Luzerne, MI; 1 sister, 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Marty’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Luzerne American Legion Post #162-Ladies’ Auxiliary.
