Michael D. Krieger, age 57, of Mio, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010, at West Branch Memorial Medical Center. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Michael was born on March 4, 1953 in Kenmore, New York, to Laverne E. and Marie J. (Martin) Krieger. He moved with his parents to Southfield, Michigan in 1966. Michael had worked for GM Fisher Body Plant #21 in Detroit, Michigan. He moved to Mio in 1981, where he had worked for McVeigh Truck Spring of Mio for 19 years. Michael enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, kayaking, snowmobiling, and working in his flower gardens. Surviving are his parents: Laverne & Marie Krieger of Mio; his brother David (Roberta) Krieger of Denver, CO; sister Karyn Krieger of Ypsilanti, MI; and his nephew Remy Sherman of Keego Harbor, MI.
